Our store is located at a big 5 point intersection right where Sunset Blvd bends south toward downtown. This has several consequences.
One, crazy people meandering down Sunset often seem to miss the bend and end up pushing open our door. Sometimes boring isn't so bad.
Two, a few months out of the year, the sun lines up with our door so that we can watch it descend onto the far horizon at the other end of Sunset, rather than it just anticlimactically slipping behind a building at 4 in the afternoon. Tonight, the store was bathed in a mysterious pink light for a few moments, an effect likely due to the fire that's been raging in the mountains all week. Electric and soft all at once, it reminded me of being a kid and staring into the underwater light in our pool (with the totally rad color lenses attached of course.)
And maybe you noticed it says 'elas' in the door. Hold a mirror up to your monitor and then read that. Pretty cool, huh? Lots of great clothing 30 - 50 % off.
